Arrival
at Kunpuszta at Varga-farm at about 10.30, where the guests
are welcome with peach pálinka (brandy)
and pogácsa (scone). It is possible to drive
to the Puszta by a horse carriage, where we can visit
the Tanyamúzeum (Farm Museum) in the nearby.
After coming back we can enjoy a 45-minute-long horse
parade, which is at a very high artistic level (e.g.
the Puszta ten-in-hand is a unique spectacle). These performances
are followed by a substantial lunch at the inn.
Menu: Hungarian kettle goulash (which is here the
most delicious), a dish with different kinds of meat and
all the trimmings, homemade cakes, red wines, white wines,
coffee. The programme takes place with guiding.

to Tihany by ferry. Staying there for one hour appr.
Taking a short walk around the Abbey and visiting
the Doll Museum. Travelling further to Badacsony.
Tasting of local wines, and possibility to buy high
quality wines from local farmers. Another 11 kilometres
to Szigliget, where the programme starts at about
18.30, which takes place at the 232-year-old Eszterházy
wine cellar and museum (with a local guide). After
that comes an introduction and tasting of 3 or 4 kinds
of local wines. The dinner is a typical and substantial
peasant cold-dish plate. Unlimited consumption of
food and drink! During the dinner, our guests are
participating in an artistic folklore programme. Soft
gypsy music can be heard all night. The programme

Esztergom Visiting the Basilica
and Treasury and taking a short walk at the centre
of the first capital of the country. Travelling
further to Visegrád, where we visit the citadel
and the castle museum firstly, and then we eat
a royal meal (word for word!) at the Renaissance
restaurant (atmosphere of the 15th
century, renaissance food and music). If we are
able to walk we will continue our journey to Szentendre,
where we can stay for two hours. It is hard to
list all the sights, which are waiting for us
there (e.g. the world famous Margit Kovács Museum,
the Village Museum, where the time has stopped
etc.).The programme takes place with guiding.
